You will learn how to protect your hair in winter, and how to nourish it in the spring, from the material below.

Hair in winter under a hat: common myths

The most difficult period for hair, perhaps, is winter and early spring, when the whole body feels a lack of vitamins. Of course, the hair "winter" nutrition is not enough for health and beauty.

Of course, they also add their own headwear, which is indispensable in winter and with which hair quickly becomes untidy. Here are some of the most common myths about hair in winter under a hat that are passed from mouth to mouth, but have no basis.

Myth one. Headwear is bad for hair growth. If you wear it less often in winter, then your hair will grow faster. We are forced to debunk this myth: in winter, both adherents of fur or knitted hats and "walruses" will equally not be able to boast of active hair growth.

Myth two. If you do not wear a hat in winter, the hair in the open air will "breathe" better and become healthier. Another misconception: in winter, almost no one can achieve healthy looking hair.

Myth three. For those who wear hats, their hair quickly “greasy" and look untidy, so in winter it is better to go without a hat. Alas, there is some truth in this: under the hat, the hair really does not look the best. And yet, think about what is better: a little more frequent hair washing than usual or constricted blood vessels and, as a result, poor hair nutrition?

Protecting and caring for hair in winter

And yet, what can be done to ensure that in the most difficult winter-spring period for hair, the hair feels good?

Protecting your hair in winter starts with learning to wear a hat. Of course, you want to show off your beautiful hair at any time of the year, but in winter, leave panache for indoors: without a hat, your hair will get sick very soon.

But if you really don't like hats, then try to at least increase the interval between washing your hair, drying your hair and going outside. This will create the optimal thermal balance for your hair. If it is not observed, the hair structure will begin to quickly collapse, they will become problematic and require special care. Why? Everything is very simple. Moisture, seeping through the pores of the skin, penetrates between the scales of the hair and freezes there. This is not good for hair, so choose one of two things: either wake up earlier to have time to wash and dry your hair well, or wear a trendy hat.

Winter hair care with temperature changes

Winter cold is the enemy for hair. What about warmth? Turns out it's warm too. Of course, you won’t wait for natural warmth in winter: although the sun shines, it doesn’t warm. Natural heat is replaced by artificial heat. At home, at work, in stores – everything is the same everywhere: warm, dry air, heated by air conditioners, heaters, central heating radiators.

Especially harmful to the hair at this time are sudden changes in temperature. But they lie in wait for us literally at every step. We went out of the house into the street – abruptly changed heat to cold. We went to the store from the street or came to work – again a sharp temperature jump, only now it is exactly the opposite: from the cold we walk straight into the heat. Not all of your hair can withstand such a load.

Winter hair care during temperature changes must be adjusted based on your hair type. If you are a happy owner of normal hair, you can breathe freely: it is unlikely that your hair will need special care. Normal hair, as a rule, is able to hold volume and stay healthy both in summer and winter.

In winter, try to use styling products less often, because with sudden changes in temperature they are unlikely to be useful, especially when wearing a hat.

Dry hair care in winter and spring

Dry hair perceives the winter-spring period quite painfully. They already sometimes lack vitality, so every winter becomes a serious test for them. Dry home or office air, heated by air conditioners, and a sharp temperature drop are a real stress for dry hair: under such aggressive pressure, they quickly lose their healthy appearance. To prevent this from happening, hair care in spring and winter should be especially thorough – you should take care of additional moisturizing your hair and eliminating static electricity, which only increases under the influence of dry warm air.

In the winter-spring period, you need to give preference to very light moisturizing shampoos and conditioners. Such products (provided, of course, that you have chosen them correctly) do not weigh down the hair and do not allow them to dry out. In addition, care for dry hair in spring and winter may include such a folk remedy as black bread “shampoo” (grind 150 g of stale black bread and pour water). You can even lather your hair with gruel from black bread. Of course, there will be no plentiful foam, like from shampoo, but you will be able to rinse your hair with the product.

Oily hair care in winter at home

Oily hair will especially suffer from wearing hats: even in the warm season, they quickly become greasy, and in winter, with constant contact with a knitted or fabric lining of a headdress, this process happens even faster, bringing a lot of grief to their owners.

What to do? First of all, paradoxically, do not give up the headgear: it is better to have naturally greasy hair than sick ones. In addition to shampoo for your hair type, use special tonics and rinses that normalize the sebaceous glands of the head.

Hair care in winter at home is to use various decoctions. So, for example, a good remedy for oily hair is a rowan rinse. It is very easy to prepare:

1 st. l. rowan berries (fresh or dried) pour 2 cups boiling water. Put the pan with the composition on a slow fire and boil it for 10 minutes. Strain the broth and cool.

After you wash your hair and rinse with warm water, additionally rinse them with a decoction, making sure that it gets not only on the hair along the entire length, but also on the skin at the roots.

Folk remedies for winter care for dyed hair

Dyed hair initially in its "well-being" is closer to problematic hair than to healthy ones. We will not repeat once again about the dangers of chemical dyes. However, there are probably many among you who have long forgotten what their natural hair color looks like. What to do with dyed hair in winter, when the influence of cold air and temperature changes on them cannot be called a beneficial factor anyway? First of all, pay special attention to the usual hair care. Use special products for colored hair.

Before taking care of your hair in winter, try to switch from intense coloring to more gentle ways to change your image: highlighting or coloring. Separate dyed or bleached strands are less of a problem than fully dyed hair: in this case, your hair will have a chance to stay healthy. As you understand, these tips apply only to those who change their image with the help of chemical colorants. Those who use natural dyes have nothing to worry about: they not only do not harm the hair, but even take care of them.

Not receiving sufficient nutrition, hair ceases to increase in length by that 1 cm, the addition of which we proudly note every month at other times of the year. Is there a way out? There is. Firstly, you can just put up with this circumstance, because in the spring you will still get yours. Secondly, you can try to wake up your hair from its “winter hibernation” by using a product that improves the functioning of blood vessels that approach the scalp and supply hair with food when caring for them.

Folk remedies for hair care in winter are varied, and all of them will undoubtedly benefit. We offer a recipe for oil infusion and horseradish balm.

1 An oil infusion of orange peel will help not only stimulate hair growth, but also make them healthier and stronger. In a glass of vegetable (preferably olive, linseed, burdock or almond) oil, add the crushed and dried zest of two medium-sized oranges. Infuse for 4-5 days, placing the container with the oil composition in a dry and cool place. After this period, strain the oil infusion and pour into a clean glass vessel, which you keep in a cool, dark place (under the influence of sunlight, many beneficial substances have the ability to break down). Rub a small amount into the scalp before washing your hair. Apply twice a week.

2 Horseradish balm is a very good hair growth stimulator and a means for nourishing them. 3 tsp chopped horseradish root pour a glass of water and bring to a boil (but do not boil). Cool and strain the mixture. Rub the resulting product into the scalp, then wash your hair as you usually do. If the scalp is sensitive, then it is worth reducing the concentration of the product by slightly diluting it with water.

[563

post-592199","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-the-beauty
["GET
