As a result, the acid-base balance of the blood suffers, the level of ketone bodies and oxalic acid rises. Equally important are diseases from malnutrition at the cellular level. This means that, despite the large portions and large amounts of food absorbed, there are not enough real nutrients for building cells. And this is extremely bad for health.

Obesity is a risk factor for health and disease development

Obesity is a risk factor for the formation of a variety of pathologies. In recent years, in industrialized countries, there is more and more talk about malnutrition, an increase in the number of overweight people. In the US, there are more than 60% of them, and 22% of the population in general is diagnosed with obesity. To no lesser extent, the problem of overweight concerns the inhabitants of Russia. About 55% of Russians over 30 are overweight, of which 30% are obese. As a result, in this group, against the background of obesity, the health risk increases: the incidence of atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes mellitus, which are based on a violation of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, is increasing.

Considering obesity as a risk factor for the development of diseases, you need to know that overweight Russians eat absolutely wrong. Here is such a paradox: once we had a shortage of products, but they were natural and of high quality, and we did not overeat every day with animal products, the same sausages, cheeses, butter and curds, we ate what was cheaper – cereals and vegetables that were not the price of meat, and now there is an abundance of products on the shelves, but, as it turns out, often of poor quality, in pursuit of profit, manufacturers “poison" us, because the relevant supervisory authorities do not work. "Competent" people how to reason? Why would I eat vegetables with pesticides and nitrates, why would I need genetically modified foods? I'd rather buy a piece of meat, cook it with spices, and here's a natural product for you. And cows eat grass with pesticides, and in order not to get sick and build up muscles, they fed them with hormones and antibiotics. Have you noticed when you cook meat what it smells like? At the same time, the consumption of bread and bakery products, as well as potatoes, is significantly increasing. Almost 80% of Russians receive less vitamins and microelements.

Obesity is a risk factor for cancers of the gallbladder, breast, ovaries, cervix, and endometrium. Dropping 5-7 extra pounds, a woman reduces the risk of breast cancer by 45%. Excess weight is a risk factor in the development of tumors in men: gallbladder and colon and prostate. The results of studies in which men participated showed that the active consumption of animal fat contributes to the development of prostate cancer. Therefore, reducing the intake of these products is one of the most important measures in the prevention of this type of cancer.

In industrialized countries, an average of 100-160 g of fat (meat, sausages) is consumed per day. The inclusion in the diet of a large number of fatty foods contributes to the increased formation of digestive juices. Under these conditions, under the influence of bile acid from the intestinal flora, substances can be formed that poison the microflora of the colon.

Diseases from a lack of fiber: who suffers

Diseases from malnutrition develop gradually and in the initial stages are disguised as other pathologies. Who suffers from malnutrition to a greater extent: the one who eats a large amount of food or a small one? Both suffer equally. Omega-3 fatty acids have been shown to be protective against colon cancer. Most of them are found in fish oil, seeds of borage officinalis and aspen. It is recommended to reduce the total amount of fat, but without limiting the proportion of fat in the diet at the expense of fish products. Studies conducted in Greece and Spain, where olive oil is widely used, have been shown to reduce the risk of breast cancer in these countries.

Increased fat intake is associated with a lack of dietary fiber in the modern refined diet. For example, the ballast substances present in the grain in the form of fibers are removed during its processing into white flour. At the turn of the 20th century, when a person included in food much more bread, grain products (barley, oats, green grain, buckwheat) and legumes, he consumed about 100 g of dietary fiber per day, and today he is limited to only 20 g. This leads to that food is much longer in the intestines and harmful substances are not removed from the body in a timely manner. Ballast substances contained in bran, vegetables and fruits also contribute to the binding of carcinogens.

To meet the body's need for ballast substances, it is enough to eat one of the following products per day:

1 serving of muesli or 3 slices of wholemeal bread;

1 serving of raw vegetable salad;

1 portion of boiled vegetables;

1-2 apples, oranges, bananas, or other seasonal fruits

[553

post-603260","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-health
["GET
