From cardboard, make two blanks for the cover: height 30 cm, width – 29.5 cm.
Add 1 cm to the height, 0.5 cm to the width.

Then, cut a piece from the one-sided adhesive fabric, 2 times longer than the blanks, so that it can wrap the spine on both sides.
The width of the adhesive fabric should be such that you can wrap the spine and leave another 2.5 cm on each side.
Attach this piece of fabric to the blanks and iron it well so that it sticks securely with the adhesive side.
Turn the workpiece over, wrap the edges of the adhesive fabric inward, cut off the excess and iron well again with an iron. The basis for the cover is ready.

Turn the workpiece over, glue double-sided tape inside each corner, cut the corners of the fabric at a 45-degree slope and fix them.
Raise the edges of the fabric around the perimeter, go over them with glue and glue to the cardboard.
