• fabric cuts in yellow and red;

• brown ribbon;
• brown paint (preferably acrylic from a spray can);
• Velcro tape;
• plain and embossed cardboard;
• glue.

To create a ninja turtle costume, do the following pajama manipulations:

1. Cut out an oval from yellow fabric. This is an imitation of a pumped-up torso of a cartoon character.
2. Sew this detail so that it covers the chest and part of the abdomen. Overcast the edges and leave a small hole through which to fill the space with padding polyester. Sew the fabric horizontally and vertically so that you get press cubes.
3. Cut 4 strips from red fabric. Their width is 8 cm, and their length is up to 25 cm. Sew two on the sleeves (just above the elbow). Leave the edges free (when finished, they must be tied in a knot). Do the same with the pants.

The most important part of the costume is the shell. Make it like this:

1. Paint the baking dish with acrylic paint.
2. To make it convenient to fasten the shell, provide it with a tape: make two holes in the form at the top and bottom. Pass brown ribbon through them. Leave the ends free so that you can fasten it on your stomach.
3. Run another piece of tape along the top to make it easier to attach. To do this, make holes on the right and left and stretch the tape over the form.
4. Sew Velcro on the inside of the shell on the tape. The answer is on a T-shirt. This will give reliability to the fastening of this structure.
5. Make a buckle with the initial letter of the hero: cut out two identical circles from embossed cardboard (diameter – 8 cm). Make one circle of the same diameter from ordinary cardboard.
6. Glue two pieces made of embossed onto ordinary cardboard. From the remaining pieces, cut out the letter of the name and stick it on the buckle. Fasten the buckle to the shell band. To do this, you can use Velcro tape.

The costume is ready. It remains only to make a blindfold out of red, blue or yellow fabric. This is easy to do: in a cut 10-15 cm wide, make two cuts for the eyes.

Don't forget about accessories: swords, shurikens and daggers. Encourage your child to complete the Ninja Turtle costume with these details.

Every loving mother can sew such a charming costume with her own hands for her baby. You can dress up a bear with a child who is just starting to go to kindergarten, or just a baby who spends the whole day in his playpen. And you will need to create the perfect New Year's look – an old brown fleece blouse. It is she who will make up almost 80% of the finished outfit.

For work you will need:

• a brown fleece (or footer) jacket (a kangaroo, a sweatshirt or a sweatshirt with a snake is suitable, the main thing is that the product has a hood);
• two pieces of fleece fabric in brown and beige;
• synthetic winterizer or other filler;
• threads in the color of fleece;
• pins;
• paper;
• a simple pencil or crayon;
• scissors.

Operating procedure:

1. We measure the width of the jacket in the buttoned state. We lay out the light fleece and draw a circle on it with a pencil so that it turns out 3-4 cm narrower than the diameter of the jacket. We cut out an even circle using any object suitable for this, for example, a lid from a saucepan.
2. We attach the resulting circle to the jacket with pins and attach it on a sewing machine with a “zigzag". This will be the belly of our teddy bear.
3. We draw a template of ears on paper – one part should turn out a little more than the second. We transfer the pattern to dark and light fleece. Large blanks of dark brown material will need 4 pieces.
4. We sew the light part to the dark one, as on the ears.
5. We fold the dark fleece with the right side to each other and sew on a sewing machine, leaving the bottom unstitched. We turn the workpiece inside out, lightly stuff it with synthetic winterizer and lay a machine or hand stitch along the bottom of the product.
6. On the hood we mark the places where the ears will be sewn in, make cuts and sew blanks into them.
7. The main part of the bear costume is ready. You can complement the image with brown pants or shorts with tights of the same color.

There is no such kid at 6 years old who would not dream of trying on the image of a real, fire-breathing dragon. So why not make such a New Year's costume for a boy that can be worn on a matinee at 5 years old, and even at 7.

For work you will need:

• green fleece fabric in light and dark shades (about 1.5 meters of each color);
• orange fabric (cut about 0.5 meters);
• Velcro fastener (20-25 cm);
• threads in tone;
• needles;
• pins;
• scissors;
• paper for making patterns.

Operating procedure:

1. We take the baby's sweater, which is just right for him, lay it out on a piece of paper and circle along the outer lines, including the sleeves. We finish the wings by hand.
2. We fold the dark and light fleece in half, cut out the blanks of the cloak for the dragon, while leaving a long piece for the tail.
3. Now we lay out the hood from the sweater on paper and circle it to create a pattern. Cut out two pieces of dark and light material.
4. We fasten the details of the wings (cloak) together, on a light fleece we outline a drawing of a dragon skeleton.
5. We sew along the marked lines, make a line along the edges of the product and cut out pieces of fabric that are between the seams, as shown in the photo.
6. From the orange fabric we cut out eight triangles with sides of 12-14 cm. We attach two parts to the tip of the tail.
7. We sew the remaining triangles in two pieces together and put them between the details for the hood. Thus, the dragon's scallop should turn out. We pin with pins and sew on a typewriter.
8. We sew Velcro on the protruding part, which will hold the entire costume on the child.
9. Sew the hood to the cloak with wings.
10. On the tips of the wings from the inside we cut the fleece layer to make mittens. The amazing dragon costume is ready.

The image of a pirate

You can create this image in different ways.

Simplest

For him we need:

• Black bandana;
• Vest (you can tear it slightly for persuasiveness);
• Leather belt to bandage the chest of a true pirate;
• Red cloth belt;
• Black pants;
• Leather boots;
• It's supposed to be an eye patch!

All this can be found in the closet or in the store.

More difficult

In this option, instead of a bandana (or together with it), you need a hat. It is cut out of felt.

Do-it-yourself New Year's costume for a boy is easy to make with the Snowman patterns. There are two versions of the costume: with a single ball and with division into several parts.

To create any option you will need:

• contrasting pompoms (black, blue, red, red);
• thin strong wire;
• white satin or matte fabric;
• white or black light gloves;
• white shoes;
• white pants or tights.

The fabric is stretched over the rings. To make it more magnificent, spacers should be made around the perimeter of the costume from the same wire: from 10 to 20 pieces, depending on the fullness of the child. In order for the fabric to be pulled over the wire easily, it must be double-sided, with a cavity inside and a hole for threading the wire. You can create such a base from two rounded pieces of satin fabric.

Pompoms are sewn onto the balls, if time permits. Three pieces are enough, one on the chest, the remaining two on the lower ball.

A headdress will help complete the look. It could be:

• black hat with a low top hat;
• white beret;
• Olaf's specially purchased hat;
• white Christmas hat.

If the child does not mind, you should also wear a scarf and gloves in black or white. Boots and pants are matched to the balls of the costume. A turtleneck or sweater without a collar is put on under the top of the outfit.

Do-it-yourself New Year's costume for a boy like "Snowman" is suitable for preschool children: boys from 4 to 6 years old. Older children prefer more serious costumes.

A bright and memorable costume for a boy can be an astronaut outfit, which requires: bottles, adhesive tape, foil, silver paint from a balloon, old newspapers, a balloon, flour, water.

Sheriff of the Wild West

Boys of 7 years old will love the costume of the militant sheriff – the thunderstorms of the bandits of the Wild West. For moms, making such an outfit is not difficult. For him you will need:

• checkered shirt;
• jeans;
• denim or leather vest;
• wide belt with large buckle;
• brown or black men's hat;
• high-top boots;
• piece of brown fabric (artificial velor) – up to 70 cm;
• sewing kit.

Additional accessories (pistols and daggers) the child will prepare on their own.

The details of this costume need some tweaking:

1. Sew the fringe on the fronts and back of the vest. To do this, cut a strip of velor 15–20 cm wide, not reaching the top line of 2 cm, into small equal strips – a fringe. Divide this part into three parts – two up to 25 cm long (for shelves) and one up to 40 cm long – for the back of the vest. Sew them on the destination.
2. Cut two strips of fabric 40-60 cm long (along the length of the outer seam of the trousers), use them to fringe the jeans on the right and left along the seam.
3. Cut out a star from a piece of velor or denim and sew it on the back in the center, stepping back from the neckline 7–10 cm.

If you have a ready-made hat, great, but if not, then you have to make it yourself. To make a cowboy headdress you will need:

• two pieces of fabric (main and contrast, for example brown and dark blue or brown and lilac);
• a piece of thick wire – up to 1 m;
• two ropes;
• a skein of woolen thread and a gypsy needle.

Follow these steps:

1. Transfer the pattern pieces to the fabric and cut out. Please note that the brim of the hat is a quarter of the desired size. Try to cut it out entirely. To do this, do not cut the longest part.
2. Sew the front and back of the crown. Cut out a star from the denim and sew on the front.
3. Baste the brim of the hat by stretching the wire inside along the outer edge. Sew on the tulle. Overcast the joins and edges with woolen threads.
4. From the sides, sew the ropes from the inside.

In this costume, the child will be comfortable to run and have fun.
