But the form of industrial collagen has one unpleasant minus – the large size of the molecule makes it impossible for it to penetrate into the deepest layers of the skin. And this is one of the important factors in its quality recovery.

But edible gelatin in this situation wins great! It contains already split collagen molecules that can easily get anywhere and anytime.

This advantage makes gelatin masks simply invaluable, since the desired effect is achieved very quickly. It is also important that the cost of gelatin against expensive restorative agents is mere pennies.

Gelatin must first be completely dissolved. This procedure will take some time, because gelatin does not want to dissolve quickly. Depending on the recipe used, gelatin is poured with milk, water or juice so that it swells up, completely absorbing the liquid.

Average proportion: 1 teaspoon of gelatin for 6-8 of the same spoons of liquid.

A container with swollen gelatin is placed in a water bath and heated until a homogeneous liquid is formed, into which the remaining ingredients are already added. This base for the preparation of gelatin will be the main one for absolutely all the recipes below.

If gelatin plates are used for the mask, then a slightly different technology is used here. By weight, 1 teaspoon of gelatin powder is equivalent to 2-3 pieces of homogeneous plates.

These plates should be filled with water at room temperature for 10 minutes, then carefully squeezed out, put in a clean plate and put in a water bath. The swollen plates themselves quickly melt to a homogeneous state. As you can see, the plates save time.

Gelatin face masks will be much more effective if you follow the basic rules. After applying the mass to the face, the facial muscles should be in a calm state, without any, even the lightest, movements. To do this, in general, is not difficult.

When using fruits or berries in recipes, consider your facial skin type and diversify masks accordingly. For normal and combination skin, grapes, peach, orange are suitable. For dry and fading, it is better to use apricots, persimmons, gooseberries and melon pulp. Red currants, cranberries, cherries, strawberries work well on oily skin.

If you have never made gelatin masks, do not immediately chase masks with a complex composition. Start with simple masks – they also give an amazing effect.

Among the common anti-aging masks is a gelatin face mask, the recipe of which is suitable for all skin types. In the finished gelatin, add a tablespoon of pounded banana pulp, mix thoroughly and apply on the face for 25 minutes. We remove the mass with a damp cloth, followed by washing the face.

For normal and dry skin, gelatin is diluted not with water, but with low-fat milk or fresh fruit and berry juices, after the bath we keep it on the face for 20 minutes, rinse off and apply a nourishing cream. The mask tightens the skin, improves color and tightens pores.

For oily skin, add one beaten egg white to the prepared gelatin, keep it on your face for 20 minutes, then gently wash it off. This mixture smoothes the skin well, nourishes and removes oily sheen.

Gelatin mask – a film for the face copes well with black dots on the skin. Gelatin prepared in any juice or milk is cooled down a little after the bath and quickly applied with a brush on the face, paying attention to problem areas.

So 2-3 layers are applied one after another. As a result, a transparent film should form on the face, which is removed after 20 minutes with movements along the face. If everything is done correctly, small bumps will remain on the film. The skin is wiped with lotion and lubricated with a nourishing cream.

Gelatin Purifying Facial Mask

Gelatin cleansing face mask includes a mixture of one raw egg yolk with a teaspoon of absolutely any vegetable oil. With dry skin, the oil is taken twice as much. Mix this mixture with ready-made gelatin and apply on the face for 20 minutes. We clean with a damp cloth.

Another variation: we replace vegetable oil and yolk with a tablespoon of mayonnaise in the above recipe. These masks simultaneously with cleansing well nourish and moisturize the skin of the face.

An even greater cleansing effect for oily skin can be obtained if ready-made gelatin is mixed with beaten white of a fresh egg, a tablespoon of kefir and a tablespoon of wheat flour.
