How to learn to beautifully paint lips?

Beautiful and sensual lips are a real decoration for every woman. And it is on the lips that you should accentuate your makeup if you want to attract the attention of men. In fact, the right makeup can make absolutely any lips very beautiful and alluring. And, even if you are already completely lucky with “lip" genetics, then you need to emphasize this dignity! And in this article we would like to talk a little more about how to paint lips correctly.

How to learn to beautifully paint lips?

In fact, there are not so many secrets here. Firstly, it is very important to properly care for the lips: for example, at night you can apply a moisturizing or nourishing lip balm to your lips, you can also use natural oils, such as coconut or shea.

However, care should not be forgotten before makeup. To make the skin of the lips soft and smooth, apply a balm on it and let it absorb properly. Blot the excess with a clean paper towel, but not with a cotton pad: after it, the villi will remain on the lips, and the lipstick will lie unevenly. This technique will help to nourish the lips well even before applying matte lipsticks, which, as you know, dry out the lips quite noticeably. Then it is very important to correctly outline the contour of the lips and give them a seductive shape. Treat the area around the lips with concealer. If the lips have a fuzzy contour (and plump lips often have this), the concealer will help to make it more accurate. The concealer should be exactly the same tone as the foundation, or a tone lighter.

Draw a contour with a pencil, starting with the upper lip. It makes sense to slightly round the corners of the "Cupid's arch" – not in order to make the lips more plump, but in order to soften their shape. The shade of the pencil is best chosen either exactly in the color of the lipstick that you will use in makeup later, or clearly in the color of your lips. This option, by the way, is as versatile as possible: it can be used under absolutely any lipstick.

Then we move on to lipstick. Creamy lipstick can be easily applied directly from the stick, or if you prefer, use a small synthetic brush. If we are talking about matte lipstick, then you should be a little more careful. On the lower lip, first emphasize the central part. Then move towards the corners. This will help to avoid a situation where too much pigment is concentrated in the corners of the lips, and the makeup, as a result, looks sloppy. Then we proceed to coloring the upper lip according to the same principle. Matte lipstick can be lightly blotted with a tissue to make the layer thinner and more even.

Secrets of beautiful and correct lip makeup: what are they?

1. Smile so that your lips smooth out and you can paint over all the wrinkles with lipstick. This is especially true for plump lips. When the lips are stretched in a smile, it is also easier to paint over their corners. At the same time, on the contrary, you should not smile if you paint your lips with a pencil.
2. Remember that dark matte lipsticks visually reduce lips, and moisturizing ones, on the contrary, add volume to them.
3. Matte lipsticks should not be used every day. However, they do dry out your lips.
4. If you are new to makeup, then dark lipsticks are best avoided, they visually reduce the already thin lips. But if you are already a master, then you know that lips can be enlarged without giving up dark shades. To do this, paint the lips, going beyond their natural contour.
5. If you're using a matte lipstick (not the best choice for thin lips), be sure to apply a moisturizing balm first and let it soak in.
6. When drawing the outline of the lips, rest your palm on your cheek, the elbow should be on the table. So the hand will be more “solid” and you will simply draw the outline.
7. If you want to visually enlarge your lips, be sure to apply a shining highlighter to the “tick” above the upper lip. And under the lower lip – a light bronzer.
8. There are quite a few ways to visually enlarge lips. Trace a “tick” above the upper lip with a pencil, marking a contour one or two millimeters higher than the natural one – this way the upper lip will look more plump.
9. If you want lips to look fuller, but still natural, then use the following trick. First, take a pencil tone-on-tone shade of your lips. Outline the contour, going beyond the native contour. At the same time, do not adjust the size in the “corners” of the lips, this will create the effect of a clown makeup. You can correct the contour of the lips only in places of flat relief, otherwise it will be very noticeable. Then, apply a special lip tint to the entire surface of the lips, including the pencil line. And then – paint with lipstick. The combination of contour pencil and pigment will create the effect of natural lip augmentation.
