In order for your carpet to retain its marketable appearance for as long as possible, you must follow a few simple rules for caring for it:
- periodically turn the carpet lying on the floor 90 or 180 degrees. So you will be able to avoid uneven wear of the carpet in places where it is constantly walked on;
- do not lay carpet in areas with high humidity or in places where toxic chemicals are stored or used;
- do not put furniture with sharp legs on the carpet;
- dry carpets in a natural way, especially for woolen carpets;
- Don't forget to vacuum the carpet from the inside out.
In winter, it is recommended to take the carpet outside, spread it “face down" on clean, dry snow and lightly knock it out, and then turn it over and cover the pile surface. Change the place on the snow as it becomes dirty until you see that the snow remains clean. This means that there is no more dust or dirt in the carpet. Overcast it again, roll it up (do not fold it) and take it home.
Without leaving home, in winter and summer, you can clean the carpet with one of the special liquid products. The foamed solution of the drug is evenly applied to the pile surface previously cleaned of dust, wiped with a sponge and left to dry completely. The remains of dirt are removed with a vacuum cleaner or a brush.
