For New Year's decoupage, you need beautiful New Year's napkins, with drawings of Santa Claus, Snow Maiden, snowflakes, snowmen, which must be cut out and glued to glass with PVA glue. The surface of the picture is neatly lubricated with a thick brush with the same glue, showered with glitter. When the work dries, the glue becomes transparent and only a beautiful pattern remains. For expressiveness, it is necessary to draw the border of the picture, this can be done with the help of gouache or a tube of henna.

Also, winter-themed drawings will look great on school glasses. No less interesting is the technique with glue and sparkles. PVA glue is taken, patterns are drawn using glitter, which are showered on top. When all this dries up, patterns remain very similar to the drawings of Frost, which we all remember from childhood. After the holiday, everything is easy to clean.

DIY Christmas wreaths

A New Year's wreath can be made from spruce legs and wire, neatly tied together in a circle, decorated with tinsel and small Christmas tree decorations.

You can also make a wreath out of salt dough. To do this, you need to take 1 kilogram of flour and 1 kilogram of salt, mix all this with about 500-700 milliliters of water, and after thoroughly mixing it is used for crafts. They take cardboard as a basis: cut out a circle, cut out the inner circle to make a bagel. The dough is divided into two parts 1:3. Lay out most of the dough in a circle on a cardboard base. Level it with hands dipped in water, making the surface smooth.

The rest of the dough will be used for decorations. First, we roll up a few balls, sculpt a couple of bows, etc. Attach them to the surface of the donut. From above, with the help of a garlic press, it is necessary to squeeze out the curls around the entire perimeter of the circle, lightly press everything so that the patterns fit tightly. It is necessary to bake such a creation in the oven, like a regular pie at 180 degrees. Finished products are painted with paints, dressed up with sparkles. You can make wreaths from other materials.

Options for decorating the ceiling and walls in the classroom

You can decorate a classroom at school for the New Year 2021 in different ways, but it is better not to ignore the walls and ceiling, because without this it is impossible to create a truly festive atmosphere. First of all, it is worth considering the overall design so that the room looks harmonious and is not overloaded with bright details. Here are some good examples:

Tinsel and rain are standard solutions that always look smart and are easy to use. They should be selected by color and evenly placed on the ceiling or at the junction of the ceiling partition with the wall. For fastening, it is easiest to use tape or thread.
You can make paper garlands or buy ready-made ones and hang them so that they do not hang down too much (it is important that the decorations do not interfere with walking around the classroom). In combination with tinsel, you can achieve a good result with minimal time.
Wall art is another great idea. You can cut out Christmas characters or large decorations, complete them with snowflakes or foil stars, and arrange them so that the wall is evenly decorated. There are ready-made images on sale, it is also better to supplement them with various little things to give a more festive look.
Volumetric figures (for example, a snowman made of plastic cups or felt). It all depends on imagination and possibilities, you can make almost any character, but it is better to choose those that are easier to implement.
Large balls can be hung on the ceiling; bright ribbons can be used for fastening. Instead of balls, any other items will do – from figurines to stars, wire snowflakes and much more. Such decorations look especially impressive.
You can hang a banner “Happy New Year!" on the ceiling or wall, select the size depending on the area of the class. If you do it yourself, it is most convenient to use fishing line and colored cardboard or other dense material.

It is necessary to observe moderation and not overload the walls and ceiling with a large amount of decor, correctly position all the elements. Snowflakes

Not a single New Year's decor is complete without snowflakes – they can decorate windows, walls, doors. Volumetric snowflakes look especially beautiful, which are very simple to make.

Master Class:

We connect the two sides of an A4 sheet, smooth the fold, cut off the excess part. We make 5 more of these blanks.
We turn the first square into a triangle, then connect the two far corners.

From the reduced corners to the fold line parallel to the longest side, we make three cuts. The width of the stripes is 2 cm.

We unfold the workpiece. We connect the edges of the obtained strips with a stapler. We start with the smallest.

After the figure is turned over, we fasten the edges of the following strips and thus collect the first ray for the snowflake.

As soon as all the rays are ready, we also fasten the edges of the three with a stapler. In the same way, we fix the remaining rays, and then connect the halves together and get a beautiful three-dimensional snowflake.

Volumetric shiny snowflake

Snowflakes are an essential attribute of the New Year. You can decorate windows in the classroom with snowflakes, hang them on the ceiling or on the blackboard. For the New Year 2020, we propose to make beautiful shiny voluminous snowflakes that will look good on the ceiling. How to make snowflakes with your own hands we will tell in our master class.

Necessary materials:

cardboard shiny blue and purple;
glue gun;
stationery knife;
simple pencil;
ruler;
toothpick.

Step by step production:

Cut out 3 strips of 14 * 2.5 cm from cardboard of two colors.
On the reverse side of each strip we draw 4 lines with equal intervals between them.
We cut these strips in the center, without cutting to the edges. We do this with a clerical knife.
We connect the edges of each colored shiny strip with a toothpick (as shown in the photo).
We glue the resulting blanks together with hot glue.
Next, cut out a circle from shiny cardboard. On the reverse side of this circle, we fasten the blanks using a glue gun. We alternate the colors of the blanks.
It turns out such a beautiful voluminous snowflake that will decorate the class for the New Year 2020. We told you how to complete all the steps, there is nothing complicated about it.

Christmas lanterns

Lanterns are another simple decoration that can be made from plain paper.

We fold a sheet of A5 paper in half and from the side of the fold, not reaching 1 cm to the next edge, we make cuts, the width of the strips is 1 cm.
We unfold the paper, apply glue on one edge, glue it with the opposite side.
We squeeze the workpiece a little with our hands to give it the shape of a flashlight. Cut out a strip of paper 21 by 10 cm, glue the handles in place.

To make the flashlight sparkle with bright lights, glue shiny sequins to it.

Fairy lights

The easiest way to decorate a classroom is with paper garlands, fringe or sequins. Pendant elements can have a traditional thematic form – stars, flags and lanterns, figures of Santa Claus or a Snowman.

In addition to the traditional plot, details of various forms can be included in the design. Garlands in the form of circles, triangles and snowflakes are easy to make with your own hands together with students of any age, even elementary grades. Flashing lights bring joy and colors only in the dark, but we can decorate the classroom at school for the New Year 2020 with an original garland made of natural cones. You can hang the garland on a blackboard, or decorate the door to the office with it, you can even hang it on the eaves. Believe me, you will definitely find a place for this unusual craft.

Necessary materials:

fir cones;
white acrylic paint;
colored rope (we use white and red);
sheet of cardboard.

Step by step production:

Pour a little white acrylic paint onto a cardboard sheet. We take the cones and roll each of them in this paint so that only the tips of the cone are painted. That is, we reproduce the effect of snow. Leave the elements to dry until the next day.
When our cones dry well, we will connect them into a garland. With a decorative rope, hiding it under the scales of the cone, we wrap each of them. You need to leave a distance of about 10 cm between the cones. If you tie them too close, it will look ugly, and the garland will not be able to bend as we need.
We choose the length of the garland ourselves, depending on where we want to hang it.
Such a cone garland looks very impressive not only in the classroom, but also in the school yard, on the front doors. You can combine such a composition with the luminous lights of a purchased garland and turn it on at night, creating a fabulous mood for the school even at night.

Snow from cotton wool

You can make artificial snow with your own hands from cotton wool or diaper filler. To build it, you will need cotton wool, threads and PVA glue. It is desirable that the thread be white in color to match the future snow.

From cotton wool it is necessary to roll a large number of small balls with a diameter of about 1-2 centimeters. Soak a needle and thread in glue and string cotton balls on it. While the glue is fresh, the balls should be evenly distributed along the entire length of the thread and allowed to dry for several hours. In a similar way, you can decorate not only the blackboard, but also doorways, windows, by making several rows of thread with balls.

Desks, teacher's table

One glued snowflake is enough to decorate the student's workplace. For the teacher's table, too, there is no need to make a lot of decoration. One cardboard tree will suffice.

To get a small decoration, a trapezoid is drawn on a sheet of cardboard, which has a very narrow upper side. The sides are glued together, the excess is cut off at the bottom of the cone, after which they begin to decorate the “tree”: the cardboard is wrapped with colored threads, tiny pieces of cotton wool, snowflakes or beads are attached to them.

This is not the only possible option. The material for the New Year tree is:

Clothespins. The “trunk” is cut out of thick cardboard, and the first row of clothespins is attached to it, then the next, etc. Wooden products are painted with green gouache. Multi-colored, plastic models will also look unusual.
Colored paper. Several identical triangle shapes are drawn on it, then they are cut out. On the side parts, “branches” are made with scissors. The figures are folded in half and glued to each other.
Tinsel. After making a cardboard cone, tinsel is glued onto it with a spiral.

School board design

All the attention of children during the learning processes is directed to the school board, on which the teacher draws up important educational information. The question arises: “Why not combine the pleasant with the useful?”. A competently and at the same time beautifully designed school board improves mood, and when it rises, attentiveness increases, and with it, working capacity.

Consider design options:

Snowman in icicles. Thanks to cotton wool, this idea can be realized.
Clock face. It is easy to build a clock using paper from different colors, not necessarily white. Snowflakes, beads and tinsel gracefully decorate and complement the whole sketch. The clock itself symbolizes the climax of the New Year.
The simplest and at the same time the easiest way is the text cut out of paper, also attached to the board and decorated with tinsel.

Christmas composition on the classroom door

New Year's topiaries look very beautiful and unusual. Such decor can be made jointly by the whole class and decorate the table of your favorite teacher with it. We offer you this version of the composition.

Necessary materials:

foam ball (diameter 17 cm);
gypsum;
plastic pipe (50 cm long);
glue gun;
Christmas balls of small diameter;
wide planter;
satin ribbon;
scissors;
artificial sprigs of spruce (or tinsel);
sisal;
cones;
candies;
beads;
mini toys.

Step by step production:

In a foam ball, we make a recess along the diameter of the plastic pipe, deepening by 2-3 cm.
Pour hot glue into the resulting hole and fasten the topiary trunk (plastic pipe).
We wrap the barrel itself with a white satin ribbon and fix the edges with hot glue.
In all Christmas balls, we remove the base for which the thread is attached.
We glue the foam ball around the entire perimeter with Christmas balls.
We plant sprigs of artificial spruce (or tinsel) on the same glue gun in the spaces between Christmas balls.
At your discretion, we glue other decorative elements (cones, sweets, beads, etc.).
Pour gypsum diluted with water into the pots. Fill the container 2/3 full. We insert the topiary trunk in the center and hold it for the first 10 minutes, as the gypsum should set.
We close the frozen gypsum with sisal and decorate it with Christmas beads.
Under the crown of the finished composition we tie a bow of white satin ribbon.
Any teacher will love this gift. It can be made in any color, complement it with various decorative elements at your discretion. And believe me, every second craft will not be similar to the previous one.
