Pharaoh (Pharaoh) is the idol of youth, a new phenomenon in modern Russian rap culture. Gleb Gennadyevich Golubin was born and raised in Moscow, in the Izmailovo district, in the family of a sports functionary. His father, Gennady Golubin, was the general director of the Dynamo football club, and later became the head of a company specializing in sports marketing. The pseudonym PHARAOH, which everyone knows now, appeared after entering Moscow State University in 2013, when Gleb joined the Grindhouse group. In the same year, he recorded the track "Cadillac" for a compilation at a friends studio. And although he worked without enthusiasm, he managed to impress others – there was something in him that stood out from the crowd.

In 2014, in the Dead Dynasty and YUNGRUSSIA projects, an 18-year-old guy begins cooperation with other rappers: Acid Drop, Fortnox Pockets, King, Jeembo, Southgarden, Toyota RAW4. His first mixtapes are out. Fame begins, but the real popularity will come next year, 2015.
