The eyes are, without a doubt, the mirror of the soul. It is the eyes that can charm any interlocutor. Correctly “shaping" our mirror of the soul can be done with the help of competent makeup. And in this article we would like to talk in more detail about how to do the right eye makeup.

Proper eye makeup: what you need to know?

To begin with, we will tell you about the features of a good evening make-up using the example of light smokey eyes. First of all, it is very important that the eye makeup is persistent. Even if you apply shadows perfectly and draw magnificent arrows, there will be nothing worse than a rolled-up make-up after a few hours. Even out the color of the eyelid by applying a thin layer of liquid concealer. Then, powder the concealer and – you can start makeup. You can also use a special primer. Go over the top with a fluffy brush with beige-pink shadows cast on it. Beige-pink matte shadows are best applied directly to the crease of the upper eyelid.

With purple shadows and a fluffy natural brush, emphasize the crease of the eyelid. Transfer the shade gradually, without trying to make it as saturated as possible right away, layer it to get the desired effect. Be sure to shade the color. Shading a color is not the same as smearing it, which means shading the borders.

Many girls in the process of makeup are faced with shedding shadows, especially matte ones. Be sure to shake off the brush or transfer the pigment first to the hand, and only then to the eye, so you will avoid the appearance of spots in the shade and unwanted shedding. If you notice that the edge of the shadows is too visible, go over it with a clean brush. Again, an important point: it is worth shading only the borders.

With a flat natural brush, apply dark shadow with a shimmer to the entire moving eyelid. Smudge the edge of the shading a little so that the color gradually turns into purple on the orbital line. It is very important that there are no too sharp transitions and graphic lines in this type of makeup. It is best to hold the brush perpendicular to the skin: this way, your shading will be as accurate as possible. For powder shadows, we use brushes exclusively from natural bristles.

Underline the lower eyelid with shadows using a flat brush. Blend the shadows well. Go all over the eyelid with purple shadows, and additionally blend a small amount of dark shadows in the outer corner. You can use matte black shadows, but keep in mind that they are quite difficult to shade: for this you need another, transitional color, for example, brown.

With a black eyeliner, paint over the space between the eyelashes from above, as well as the mucous membrane from below.

Highlight the inner corner of the eye with shimmering shadows or a highlighter. Thickly paint over the eyelashes with mascara. You can put on false eyelashes.

This is a fairly basic example of makeup. If you want, for example, to use other shades, you can easily do this. You can also use, for example, a base of cream eyeshadows in different shades instead of a traditional primer. You can additionally decorate any of the makeup with glitter: applying it simply with your finger in the form of a kind of topper.

How to color eyelashes?

Eyelash coloring also has its own secrets and subtleties. Always apply mascara from the roots of the lashes and move in an upward curling motion. If you do this regularly, your lashes won't look down even without mascara. If you want to achieve maximum separation of eyelashes, then choose mascara with a silicone brush. If you want volume, then take a brush with natural, fluffy bristles.

After applying one layer of mascara, wait ten seconds before applying the second layer. This way your lashes won't stick together.

The main features of the correct daily eye makeup: what are they?

If you want the eyeshadow to last all day or evening, and the color to be really bright, be sure to use an eyeshadow base. Be sure to powder the primer. Blend a light gray-brown matte shadow into the crease of the upper eyelid. Apply light beige shadows all over the eyelid, highlighter or milky shadows in the corners of the eyes and under the eyebrow. Make an inter-eyelash arrow: carefully paint over the space between the eyelashes with a black pencil. If desired, draw a small arrow using liquid eyeliner or a felt-tip pen. Coat your lashes well with mascara from the roots to the tips. Additionally, you can use an eyelash curler.

Plan the width and angle of shading based on the individual anatomical features of your eyes and the effect you want to get.
