Makeup is a real art. And, like real art, it has a lot of secrets. In fact, we are sure that every girl is capable of doing beautiful makeup – no worse than a professional makeup artist, at least because makeup artists work with very different types, but choosing the perfect make-up scheme for yourself and mastering it is much easier. And in this article we would like to talk a little more about the main rules of beautiful makeup.

The main rules of beautiful makeup: what are they?

It is very important to start any makeup with care procedures. Skin care is of paramount importance. Create your own morning routine, use moisturizers that don't smudge. The routine can be chosen with a beautician. The main thing is that the means and the very scheme of their application are right for you. Never skip this step. On dry, dehydrated skin, any, even the most expensive cosmetics, will not be able to lie down as well as they could. At a minimum, such steps as cleansing, toning and moisturizing should be present. And after that, we proceed to make-up.

To begin with, spread the primer – it will prepare the skin for applying makeup and prolong its durability. It is better to choose a primer according to skin type or for its intended purpose in makeup. You can use a mattifier for oily skin, a moisturizer for dry skin, a green undertone for skin with couperose or other types of redness. Also, primers can perfectly prolong the durability of makeup.

To create makeup, as a rule, begin with the application of a tonal foundation. A properly selected product will hide skin imperfections, even out the tone and prepare the face for the next steps. Foundation can be powder, cream or a light fluid. When choosing it, rely on the shade of your skin and its type: it is important that the shade of the product is as identical as possible to your skin tone and, as a result, there are no contrasts with the neck. For oily skin, powders are suitable, for normal and mixed tonal fluids, and for dry a nourishing creamy texture is needed. If you use acidic care, then it is optimal to select tonal products with a noticeable sun protection factor.

The technique of applying the foundation is no less important than the chosen shade. It is best to apply the tone with a damp sponge, or with a duofiber brush, with gentle, patting movements. The foundation layer should be thin enough. If you have a need to hide a lot of flaws, then you need to do this not with the help of another layer of tone, but with the help of a sufficiently pigmented corrective agent.

Always set the tone with the thinnest layer of translucent powder. Make-up will not get extra heaviness from this step, but at the same time, the tone of the face will be even more even, and the makeup itself will become more resistant.

Sculpting is a fairly important step in makeup that can make facial features, in general, noticeably more expressive. The most important part of the sculpting process is shading. First, blend the light corrector with a sponge or brush, and then move on to the dark one so as not to get the effect of a dirty face. Make sure you blend all the borders perfectly. There is nothing worse in makeup than sculptor marks on the face. Sculpting zones for each face are determined individually. The most common correction is the zygomatic one.

Don't be afraid to mix and don't be afraid to experiment. It doesn't matter if you use expensive or cheaper cosmetic products – in any case, your makeup will look more complex, deep and sophisticated if you mix two colors of lipstick and several shades of eye shadow. Makeup is creativity, and if you suddenly feel that there is a need to break all the rules, feel free to break them.

In any makeup, it is very important to correctly shape the eyebrows. Choose for yourself an individual shape and color – which will be identical to the shade of your hair. Remember that too graphic, bright eyebrows have long gone out of fashion and now the maximum naturalness is in favor.

Choose eye makeup depending on the occasion. In daytime makeup, a light shading of shadows and a drop of mascara can be quite enough. For the evening, it would be optimal to master the techniques of smokey eyes or graphic arrows. Remember that the richer the makeup, the brighter and thicker your eyelashes should be. Be sure to use a primer for shadows – it will allow them to become brighter, and makeup, in general, will make it more resistant.

For lip makeup on a daily basis, we advise you to use moisturizing lipsticks and glosses, and for evening events, long-lasting matte lipsticks are well suited. Do not forget about contour pencils to increase the durability of the make-up.
