Straightening with a hair dryer and cosmetics. To wash your hair, use a special series shampoo for curly hair and a smoothing balm-conditioner. Carefully squeeze the hair with a soft towel, starting from the roots, gently comb it in a wet state, while applying a styling agent (gel, mousse, spray) with glycerin along the entire length. Blow dry, pulling out each strand with a fine comb.

Labour-intensive hair straightening with a flat iron

Wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner, dry without using a hair dryer, comb it gently. Apply a styling product with protective properties to them, distributing it along the entire length of the strands with a thin comb.

Such laborious hair straightening with an iron should be started from the lower strands, while the upper ones should be stabbed at the crown.

Apply a special smoothing spray to each strand, hold the strand between the heated surfaces of the iron in the area at the hair roots, hold for 5-8 seconds, then loosen the pressure, move the iron lower and pinch the strand again. Repeat this procedure, gradually moving towards the ends of the hair. Straighten the rest of the strands in the same way.

Chemical hair straightening is not safe!

It must be understood that chemical hair straightening is not safe for their health and beauty. To straighten hair chemically, as a rule, formulations based on one of the following drugs are used:

• sodium hydroxide, which effectively straightens hair by softening its outer layer and weakening the natural tension that gives the hair curly. Its main disadvantage is that it greatly damages them;
• ammonium ioglycolate – which has a more gentle effect, but does not give the same effect as sodium hydroxide.

The straightening process is usually carried out in 3 stages:

• 1 – applying a straightening composition to the hair;
• 2 – their treatment with a neutralizing compound that reduces the aggressiveness of the straightening agent;
• 3 – use a restorative balm or mask.

Not many people know what corrugation of hair is, since the method has only recently appeared. Wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner, straighten it with a hair dryer.

Start corrugating from the lower strands, temporarily stab the upper strands at the crown. Repeat this procedure, gradually moving towards the ends of the hair. Straighten the rest of the strands in the same way. Fix the result with hairspray. The styling will last throughout the day.

Hair volume and styling

To add volume to the hair, you must first wash your hair with shampoo, while using a rinse that does not weigh down the hair.

Lightly wipe clean hair with a towel and wait until it is half dry. Apply a small amount of gel or mousse to the hair roots. After the volume of hair has been created, styling begins with the lower strands, while the upper ones are temporarily fixed at the crown with a hairpin or clip.

After that, the upper strands should be laid in the same way. If desired, highlight individual strands with gel or wax. Fix the hairstyle with varnish.

If the hair is thin or sparse, the following method will help create a voluminous hairstyle. Pin strands of clean, half-damp hair at the crown, fixing the roots in an upright position and applying styling gel or mousse to them.

Create an initial volume using a regular massage brush and hot air, then shape the strands with a round comb and cold air.

After drying, style the hair with cold air using a round comb. Fix with hairspray.
