- L (Lenght) – length. She is a step seam. Measured along the inner seam (inseam) of jeans: apply the zero mark of the meter to the bottom of the leg and measure the length to the intersection of the seams under the fly.
The size of jeans that are sold in foreign online stores or online stocks is indicated using these letters. For example, 38W x 34L. Or, let’s say, W32 L30.
There is only one nuance here. Since jeans are an American invention, both fullness and length are traditionally indicated in inches. Remember: 1 inch = 2.54 cm. Then everything is simple.
Measure your waist and the length of the inseam (this can be done, for example, on your already existing and perfectly fitting jeans). Divide the resulting values in centimeters by 2.54. Round up to the nearest integer.
For example:
- your waist is 80 cm. Divide by 2.54 – we get 31.496 … Round up to 32. Total, your W – 32 ;
