When can I start injecting hyaluronic acid? The optimal age for injection cosmetology
Hyaluronic acid is the drug in cosmetology, which is now on everyone's lips. This is no accident, hyaluronic acid is extremely effective. It moisturizes the skin, makes it more elastic and more toned, both as part of cosmetic creams and as part of injections. Of course, a cream is an easier solution, especially in the presence of the first signs of aging, injections remove problems many times faster and more efficiently. At the same time, with injections it is very important to know when to stop and not start doing them too early. What age can be called optimal?
At what age can you start injecting hyaluronic acid?
The answer to the question at what age you can start injecting hyaluronic acid will not be unambiguous. Everything will be determined by the individual condition of the patient's skin and the characteristics of his body. In fact, someone overtakes the first signs of aging at the age of “over 30", someone encounters them at the age of 23. Injections should be done strictly according to indications, after consultation with a competent cosmetologist, whose main task is not to harm. If injections are made too early, the effect will be reversed, the face will look noticeably older.
If we turn to specifics, then the average age for the first injections with hyaluronic acid is 25-30 years, when the first wrinkles and folds begin to appear, formed by poor ecology, hereditary predisposition, bad habits, stress, non-compliance with sleep and rest, irrational nutrition, active facial expressions. Signs of aging may be different: for example, too dull, gray complexion, deterioration in the level of skin elasticity. And, if cosmetics, massages and a healthy lifestyle no longer help with the problem, then it is really worth turning to injections: especially since modern drugs are quite safe.
Direct indications for anti-aging injections are:
- Dehydration and dryness of tissues, the skin becomes very dry, reacts sharply to wind and temperature changes;
- Loss of turgor and elasticity, which becomes noticeable especially without makeup, and at the same time causes deformation of facial features and deterioration of the oval.
- Wrinkles, folds and creases of varying severity: both mimic and permanent;
- Various irritations and inflammatory processes on the surface of the epidermis.
Injections with hyaluronic acid will help restore its deficiency in tissues, increase skin tone and elasticity due to the active production of collagen and elastin, which is stimulated by hyaluronic acid, have a pronounced anti-inflammatory and wound healing effect, fill and smooth wrinkles, restore volume to thinned areas, normalize moisture balance in cells.
Of course, much depends on the correct choice of a specific procedure, on how the beautician will perform all the necessary actions correctly. How often and what kind of drugs to inject the patient – the cosmetologist determines, based on the age and condition of the skin. At what age you can start injecting hyaluronic acid, only a certified cosmetologist should decide. As a rule, among such procedures are biorevitalization and mesotherapy, both of them involve the subcutaneous injection of a hyaluronic acid preparation, but they still differ in technology and types of preparations. Some people prefer to inject fillers pointwise, for example, in the area of the nasolabial fold.
In some types of aging, it is very important not to abuse injection procedures with the use of hyaluronic acid, in particular, with deformation, due to the fact that hyaluronic acid retains fluid, and this is fraught with swelling. For brow lines and forehead wrinkles, Botox and Dysport injections are generally more suitable.
Filler correction is not an operation, but is considered a type of injection cosmetic procedures. However, only highly qualified cosmetologists should perform this procedure. If the filler is injected incorrectly, hematomas in the injection area, allergic reactions, skin cyanosis, and vascular necrosis are possible. If you cannot yet turn to a qualified cosmetologist, then the procedures should not be done at all, but you should limit yourself to home care, for example, creams in the same hyaluronic acid in the composition.
